MINUTES OF EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF KINLOCH COMMUNITY COUNCIL HELD ON FRIDAY, 28 April 2006 AT 8.00PM IN THE LAXAY HALL.

1. BEINN MHOR POWER LIMITED – AMENDED PROPOSAL

The Chairman told the meeting that in view of the amended proposal be Beinn Mhor Power Limited, the purpose of the meeting was to raise the issue of a public ballot within the Kinloch Community. The process of organising a community ballot (as supplied by Corporate Services) was read to the meeting.

After discussion, Iain MacLeod proposed that the Community Council do not hold a ballot. This was seconded by Donald MacLennan.

A second proposal was put forward by Iain MacLeod – The Community Council advertise in the local press, local radio and website that all written representations from residents of Kinloch re the amended proposal should be submitted to the Clerk by 12 May 2006. This was unanimously agreed. Clerk to arrange.

There being no other business, the meeting was closed. Next scheduled meeting to be held on Tuesday, 9 May 2006 at 8.00pm in the Laxay Hall.
